New Hampshire has the highest prices, averaging $6,006 per month for in-home care and $6,197 per month for home health care. Massachusetts also has higher costs than Rhode Island, with both care types costing an average of $5,911 per month. Seniors who already have long-term care insurance may be able to use it to pay for skilled nursing care. Most policies cover at least a portion of the cost, but it depends on the specific policy terms.

So every time, there was a new one, I had to explain all kinds of things to them but they understood quickly and I had no trouble. Homefront provides a very good service and their purpose is, they try and keep elderly individuals in their home rather than go into a facility, and in my case they do that by coming here. They do my laundry, make my bed, clean my house and it enables me to continue living here rather than going to an assisted living facility. So that’s the purpose of their organization and I think they do it well. I was thinking of going into an assisted living program because I had a bad heart condition but I’m very glad that I didn’t.
